Japan, S. Korea OK to double size of currency swap deal
TOKYO, Japan - Japanese Finance Minister Sadakazu Tanigaki (3rd from R) and his South Korean counterpart, Han Duck Soo (3rd from L), hold talks in Tokyo on Feb. 4. They agreed to increase the size of a bilateral currency swap agreement to $15 billion from $7 billion to help address potential financial crises in Asia. (Kyodo)
