Toshiba to release flat-screen TVs under new 'REGZA' brand

TOKYO, Japan - Toshiba Corp. said Feb. 21 it will release large flat-screen television sets in Japan and abroad under a new brand ''REGZA'' from March 1 through early May. The new brand name was coined from the German word ''regsam'' and connotes vibrant, dynamic qualities, Toshiba said. (Kyodo)
