Japan's Subaru telescope captures huge gas masses

TOKYO, Japan - Japan's large-scale Subaru telescope in Hawaii has captured images of huge masses of molecular gas, each several times larger than the Milky Way, the National Astronomic Observatory of Japan said July 27. For comparison, the Andromeda Galaxy (top right corner) is a little larger than the Milky Way (photo provided by the national observatory). (Kyodo)
