Zenshoku restaurant chain resumes using U.S. beef

OSAKA, Japan - Guests enjoy eating an Osaka barbecur restaurant as restaurant chain operator Zenshoku Co. restarted offering dishes using U.S. beef at its 57 shops in Tokyo and 11 of the nation's 47 prefectures on Aug. 29. Zenshoku has become the first major restaurant chain in Japan to serve U.S. beef since the government removed its import ban on American beef in late July. (Kyodo)
