Asashoryu wins in autumn sumo, but loses to Chiyotaikai

TOKYO, Japan - Mongolian yokozuna Asashoryu (L) fell to his second defeat in a brawl with ozeki Chiyotaikai (R) with one day remaining at the Autumn Grand Sumo Tournament in Tokyo on Sept. 23. But he claimed his 18th career Emperor's Cup when compatriot Ama, his closest rival in the title race, was tossed down by ozeki Tochiazuma to fall to a fourth defeat in an earlier bout at Ryogoku Kokugikan.
