Japan to cut stake in Azadegan, gives up project operator status
TOKYO, Japan - Katsujiro Kida, executive senior vice president of Inpex Corp., the operating arm of Inpex Holdings Inc., tells a news conference in Tokyo on Oct. 6 that Inpex, owned by 29.35 percent by the government, will cut its concession in a project to develop Iran's Azadegan oil field to 10 percent from the current 75 percent.
