Watanabe becomes new reform minister, replaces Sata
TOKYO, Japan - Yoshimi Watanabe, a senior vice minister at the Cabinet Office, has been appointed by Prime Minister Shinzo Abe as the new administrative reform minister. Photo shows Watanabe (C) surrounded by journalists as he enters the prime minister's official residence Dec. 28 for the appointment.
