Winter Asian Games: Kokubo wins snowboard halfpipe gold medal

CHANGCHUN, China - Japan's Kazuhiro Kokubo won the men's snowboard halfpipe gold medal at the Winter Asian Games in China on Jan. 30. Kokubo, who captured the silver at the world championships in Arosa, Switzerland, earlier this month, scored 44.5 points in his first run at Jilin Beida Lake Skiing Site. (Kyodo)
