Indoor cross-country skiing venue completed in Sapporo

SAPPORO, Japan - A snow compactor puts the final touches on the indoor cross-country skiing course at Sapporo Dome on Feb. 19 for the Nordic World Skiing Championships opening this week in Sapporo. The indoor course, the first of its kind for a world championships event, is 390 meters long and serves as the starting and finishing venue for cross-country skiing and four other events in the upcoming championships.
