Kitajima wins 200m breaststroke in absence of archrival
MELBOURNE, Australia - Japan's Kosuke Kitajima (C) won the men's 200-meter breaststroke final March 30 in the absence of his archrival Brendan Hansen, claiming Japan's first gold medal at the world swimming championships in Melbourne. Brenton Rickard (L) of Australia came in second and Italian Loris Facci (R) third. (Kyodo)
