Renovated Takashimaya store targets old-aged consumers
TOKYO, Japan - Takashimaya Co.'s outlet in Tokyo's Shinjuku area reopened April 19 after undergoing complete renovation, with expectations that the major department store will attract more old-aged consumers now that baby boomers aged around 60 are retiring.
