Ama says 'my mother gave me a kiss' with sekiwake promotion

TOKYO, Japan - Ama, the newly promoted sekiwake from Mongolia, shows the rankings list for the upcoming Summer Grand Sumo Tournament released by the Japan Sumo Association in Tokyo on April 25. He told reporters that ''my mother gave me kiss'' on the telephone when he called her in Mongolia and told her about his new sumo ranking. Ama, 23, is the fourth Mongolian wrestler to gain promotion to sekiwake, the third highest rank in sumo. (Kyodo)
