Abe arrives in Saudi Arabia, 1st stop in 5-nation Mideast trip
RIYADH, Saudi Arabia - Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe (L) and his wife Akie, accompanied by a Saudi envoy, disembark from their plane at the Riyadh airport on April 28 to begin a five-nation tour of the Middle East. Abe is expected to he will discuss with leaders there on cooperation over securing stable energy supplies for Japan, Mideast peace process and global issues such as Iraq and Iran. (Kyodo)
