Ex-Keidanren chief Hiraiwa dies at 92
TOKYO, Japan - Gaishi Hiraiwa (seated in a wheelchair), former chairman of the now-defunct Japan Federation of Economic Organizations (Keidanren), receives a decoration from Emperor Akihito at the Imperial Palace in a photo taken in November 2006. Hiraiwa died on may 22 at age 92. (Kyodo)
