Gov't remains upbeat on Japan economy except for output
TOKYO, Japan - Prime Minister Shinzo Abe (2nd from right) talks to Chief Cabinet Secretary Yasuhisa during a meeting of economic Cabinet ministers on May 22. The meeting endorsed a monthly economic report for June, in which the government maintained its view regarding Japan's economy, saying, ''The economy is recovering, despite weakness in industrial production in some sectors.''
