Hitachi aiming to raise overseas sales ratio to 50%

TOKYO, Japan - Kazuo Furukawa, president of Hitachi Ltd., said in an interview with Kyodo News on May 29 that his company is aiming to increase its overseas sales ratio to 50 percent as early as by the end of fiscal 2010 from about 40 percent at present in an effort to ensure its future growth.
