Suzuki announces plan to build car plant in Russia with Itochu
ST. PETERSBURG, Russia - Osamu Suzuki (L in front), president of Suzuki Motor Corp. of Japan, signs a memorandum of understanding on a plan to build a car assembly plant near St. Petersburg, Russia's second largest city, with Russian officials June 8 in St. Petersburg. Suzuki will build the plant jointly with Japanese trading house Itochu Corp. (Kyodo)
