M'bishi Heavy to exhibit mock-up of advanced jet cabin at Paris

TOKYO, Japan - An artist's image shows a small passenger aircraft Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd. is developing. The company said on June 11 it plans to put it into commercial operation in 2012. The aircraft, dubbed the Mitsubishi Regional Jet, is expected to reduce fuel consumption and contribute to enhanced competitiveness and lower operating costs for airline companies, it said. (Kyodo)
