Menicon releases long-wear contact lens

NAGOYA, Japan - Menicon Co., Japan's leading contact lens manufacturer, releases a long-wear hard contact lens which it says can be worn continuously for up to 30 days. The company says the lens is made from a material that filters oxygen and the lens is shaped with thin edges for comfort in wearing. (Kyodo)
