DPJ takes control of upper house
TOKYO, Japan - Satsuki Eda, a senior lawmaker of the main opposition Democratic Party of Japan, delivers a speech at a plenary session of the House of Councillors in Tokyo on Aug. 3 after being elected upper house president.
