Guttormson suspended in 1st doping case in Japan
TOKYO, Japan - Yasuchika Negoro, acting commissioner of Nippon Professional Baseball, speaks at a news conference in Tokyo on Aug. 10 about the decision to suspend Softbank Hawks right-hander Rick Guttormson for 20 days. A post-game doping test on July 13 found that Guttormson had taken Finasteride.
