Abe pledges not to fight war at 62nd anniversary of WWII end
TOKYO, Japan - Prime Minister Shinzo Abe bows at the national memorial service for the war dead on the 62nd anniversary of the end of World War II at Nippon Budokan Hall in Tokyo on Aug. 15. In an address delivered at the memorial, Abe pledged to maintain Japan's commitment not to engaging in war and vowed to contribute to world peace. (Kyodo)
