Kenya's Kibet wins gold in men's marathon at world championships
OSAKA, Japan - Kenya's Luke Kibet holds up his country's national flag after winning the men's marathon in the opening event at the 11th IAAF World Championships in Athletics in Osaka on Aug. 25. Kibet clocked a time of 2 hours, 15 minutes, 59 seconds to win his first major title in the hot and humid conditions in Osaka. (Kyodo)
