Athletics: Tyson Gay nabs gold in men's 100, drabs in flag
OSAKA, Japan - American Tyson Gay wraps himself in the American flag after claiming the gold in the men's 100 meters at the athletics world championships in Osaka on Aug. 26 with a time of 9.85 seconds. World record holder Asafa Powell finished third behind Derrick Atkins of the Bahamas, who timed 9.91 for silver. Powell, who holds the world mark of 9.77, finished in 9.96 (Pool photo) (Kyodo)
