Matsuzaka gets win as Boston nears World Series title
DENVER, United States - Boston Red Sox starter Daisuke Matsuzaka pitches against the Colorado Rookies in his first career outing in the major league at Coors Field on Oct. 27. He hurled 5-1/3 effective innings to help his club beat the Rockies 10-5 and move within a win of claiming the World Series title. Matsuzaka is the first Japanese pitcher to win a World Series game.
