Japan stops refueling for Afghan anti-terror operations
TOKYO, Japan - Japan's Maritime Self-Defense supply ship Tokiwa (R) refuels a Pakistani navy destroyer in the Arabian Sea in the northern part of the Indian Ocean on Oct. 29. Japan halted its refueling mission in the ocean the same day as the antiterrorism law that enables such mission is due to expire on Nov. 1. The photo was released by the MSDF. (Kyodo)
