Kim Dae Jung dissatisfied with S. Korean report on abduction
KYOTO, Japan - Former South Korean President Kim Dae Jung speaks at a news conference in Kyoto on Oct. 30. Kim said he is dissatisfied with the South Korean government's report on his abduction from a Tokyo hotel in 1973. Kim, then in self-imposed exile in Japan, was abducted from the Hotel Grand Palace in Tokyo on Aug. 8, 1973, taken to Seoul by boat and released in the streets of the South Korean capital five days later.
