Chunichi beats S. Korean Series winner for Asia Series title
TOKYO, Japan - Members of the Chunichi Dragons thank their supporters at Tokyo Dome after the Japan Series champions edged the Korean Series winner SK Wyverns 6-5 in the Asia Series final on Nov. 11. Chunichi joined the 2005 Lotte Marines and the 2006 Nippon Ham Fighters as Japanese winners of the Asia Series after rebounding from an opening-day loss to SK in the four-team tournament. (Kyodo)
