Chunichi beats S. Korean Series winner for Asia Series title

TOKYO, Japan - Chunichi Dragons manager Hiromitsu Ochiai is lifted in the air by his team members after the Japan Series champions edged the Korean Series winner SK Wyverns 6-5 in the Asia Series final at Tokyo Dome on Nov. 11. Chunichi joined the 2005 Lotte Marines and the 2006 Nippon Ham Fighters as Japanese winners of the Asia Series after rebounding from an opening-day loss to SK in the four-team tournament. (Kyodo)
