Matsushita to rename itself Panasonic, dropping founder's name
OSAKA, Japan - Fumio Otsubo, president of Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., speaks about the company's decision to rename itself Panasonic Corp. on Oct. 1 at a news conference in Osaka on Jan. 10.
