JAL Chairman Shinmachi to step down
TOKYO, Japan - Japan Airlines Corp. said Feb. 8 that Chairman Toshiyuki Shinmachi (in file photo) will step down to rejuvenate the leadership of Japan's top airline, now that its business appears to be recovering. Shinmachi's successor has yet to be decided and the chairman's post will be vacant for now, it said. (Kyodo)
