Japan's economic sentiment downgraded to 2005 level: METI
TOKYO, Japan - Economy, Trade and Industry Minister Akira Amari addresses a meeting of senior ministry officials at the Economy, Trade and Industry Ministry in Tokyo on Feb. 25. Japan's economic conditions have deteriorated to the level they were at in 2005 as high oil prices and sluggish housing starts are hurting business confidence of small and medium-sized companies, according to a survey released by the ministry on the same day.
