6,000 attend rally in Okinawa against crimes by U.S. soldiers

CHATAN, Japan - Defying rain, an estimated 6,000 people gather in Chatan, Okinawa on March 23 for a rally to protest against crimes by U.S. soldiers. The protesters demanded a revision of the Japan-U.S. Status of Forces Agreement and a curtailment of U.S. military bases. (Kyodo)
