Ozawa expected to be declared winner in DJP leadership race
TOKYO, Japan - Ichiro Ozawa (photo) is expected to be declared the unopposed winner on Sept. 8 for a third term in the leadership race of the main opposition Democratic Party of Japan. Registration of candidacy opens at 10 a.m. and Ozawa will be declared the unopposed winner after registration closes at 11 a.m. as there appears to be no other entry in the race. (Kyodo)
