Japan to return inedible foreign rice to exporting nations
TOKYO, Japan - Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Minister Seiichi Ota speaks during a news conference at his ministry on Sept. 12. He said the government will return imported rice to exporting countries if it is found to be tainted and inedible as part of preventive measures against distribution of such rice in the Japanese market.
