1.8 tril. yen extra budget passes lower house

TOKYO, Japan - Members of Japan's House of Representatives clear a 1.81 trillion yen supplementary budget on Oct. 8 by standing votes aimed at supporting businesses and livelihoods.         Voting in Japan's general election took place on Sunday, October 27, following the early dissolution of the Lower House by new Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba.
