Tokyo stocks tumble, Nikkei ends with 2nd largest drop

TOKYO, Japan - A signboard at a securities company in Tokyo's Nihonbashi district shows the 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average dropping 1,089.02 points, or 11.41 percent, to 8,458.45, its second-largest single-day percentage drop.
