Taiwan president rules out Dalai Lama visit

TAIPEI, Taiwan - Taiwanese President Ma Ying-jeou speaks at a news conference with foreign media in Taipei on Dec. 3. Ma reversed his previous position of welcoming a visit to Taiwan by the Dalai Lama, saying a visit by the Tibetan spiritual leader would be untimely. (Kyodo)
