Nobel award ceremony takes place, 3 Japanese scientists honored
STOCKHOLM, Sweden - Toshihide Masukawa, professor emeritus at Kyoto University, receives his medal and diploma from Sweden's King Carl XVI Gustaf at the Stockholm Concert Hall on Dec. 10. Masukawa won the Nobel Prize in physics along with Makoto Kobayashi, professor emeritus at the High Energy Accelerator Research Organization, and Yoichiro Nambu, a Tokyo-born U.S. scientist and professor emeritus at the University of Chicago.
