Watanabe forms new group with independent lawmaker, experts

TOKYO, Japan - Former Cabinet minister Yoshimi Watanabe (2nd from L) joins hands with members of a new political group he has formed just three days after leaving the ruling Liberal Democratic Party at a news conference at the No. 2 House of Representatives lawmakers' building in Tokyo on Jan. 16.
