Biofuel-powered JAL airliner conducts flight test
TOKYO, Japan - Workers put biofuel in a Japan Airlines Boeing 747-300 jet at Tokyo's Haneda airport on Jan. 30 before its test flight. One of the jet's four Pratt & Whitney engines is powered by a biofuel blended half-and-half with conventional kerosene-based jet fuel. (Kyodo)
