Sugihara honored for playing Chunichi Crowns for 50 straight yrs
NAGOYA, Japan - Veteran golfer Teruo Sugihara shows off a watch he was presented with to celebrate his playing in the Chunichi Crowns for 50 years in a row at Nagoya Golf Club, Wago Course in Aichi Prefecture on April 30. The 71-year-old golfer placed in the cellar, at 114th, posting a 14-over 84 in the first round of the tournament which began the same day. (Kyodo)
