Recycled nuke fuel unloaded in Japan for 1st pluthermal generatio
SHIZUOKA, Japan - Recycled nuclear fuel in a special container, is unloaded from the Pacific Heron at a port near Chubu Electric Power Co.'s Hamaoka nuclear power plant in Omaezaki, Shizuoka Prefecture. The ship arrived at the port earlier in the day from France with the fuel for the planned start of Japan's plutonium-thermal power generation in the fall. (Kyodo)
