Gov't upgrades economic assessment, drops 'deterioration' in repo
TOKYO, Japan - Economic and Fiscal Policy Minister Kaoru Yosano speaks in a news conference in Tokyo on June 17 after the Cabinet Office released a report in which it upgraded its assessment of the Japanese economy for the second month in a row and deleted the phrase meaning deterioration from its report for the first time in seven months citing signs of recovery in exports and industrial production.
