Lower house OKs bill to scrap age limit for organ transplants
TOKYO, Japan - Health, Labor and Welfare Minister Yoichi Masuzoe bows after Japan's lower house approved June 18 a bill to recognize people who are brain dead as legally dead and to scrap the age limit for organ transplants. The approval of the bill clears the way for transplants in Japan for people under 15. (Kyodo)
