S. Korean Yang becomes 1st Asian major winner at PGA C'ship
CHASKA, United States - South Korea's Y.E. Yang holds the trophy after winning the first major title for an Asian at the U.S. PGA Championship at Hazeltine National Golf Club in Minnesota on Aug. 16. Yang finished with a 2-under 70 and a winning total of 8-under 280, a stunning three-shot victory over world No. 1 Tiger Woods. (Kyodo)
