JICA chief Ogata visits Baghdad
BAGHDAD, Iraq - Sadako Ogata (L), chief of the Japan International Cooperation Agency, meets with Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister Rafie al-Issawi in Baghdad on Oct. 10, 2009. Ogata became the first leader of the Japanese public foreign aid entity to visit Iraq since the U.S. invaded the country in 2003. (Kyodo)
