Japan, Mekong leaders meet over climate change, development
TOKYO, Japan - The leaders of Japan and five Mekong-region countries attend their first summit meeting in Tokyo on Nov. 6, 2009. Japan's Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama and his counterparts from Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam, began a two-day meeting to hammer out Tokyo's support for measures to address climate change and others steps aimed at narrowing disparities within the region.
