Hatoyama warned of doubling public money misuse
TOKYO, Japan - Japanese Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama (R) receives a report on misuse of public money in fiscal 2008 from Board of Audit Commissioner Masaki Nishimura at the premier's office Nov. 11, 2009. The board found a record 236.45 billion yen, almost double the previous year, in improper spending of taxpayers' money in a more thorough inspection than the past. (Kyodo)
