Murakami wins javelin gold at Asian c'ships
GUANGZHOU, China - World bronze medalist Yukifumi Murakami competes in the javelin on the way to winning Japan's first gold medal in 22 years at the Asian championships at Guangdong Olympic Stadium in Guangzhou on Nov. 14, 2009. Murakami threw an 81.50-meter effort on his fourth attempt to claim victory over China's Wang Qingbo (80.25) and Qin Qiang (80.08). (Kyodo)
